Swim your dog back to full fitness
Why does my Pet need Hydrotherapy?
Firstly the boring bit...
There are many benefits of aquatic therapy.
Exercising in water is highly effective for improving strength, muscular endurance, cardio-respiratory endurance, range of motion, agility, and psychological well-being.
Hydrotherapy uses water’s buoyancy and resistance to rehabilitate/exercise your dog safely with greater potential for increased range of movement with less associated pain. Water temperature is constantly kept in an ideal range for your dog (usually 29.4C.)
Even more than that.....
It makes that rehabilitation or exercise fun!!
We all know that exercising can be boring doing the same thing time after time. Dogs like variety too and the change of environment, coupled with an enthusiastic owner (who secretly have just as much fun as their dogs...even though some might not like to admit it!) and possibly a toy, can bring a new outlook to you and your dogs life.
We focus on rehabilitation and weight loss but we never forget that we can swim just for fun too and even if we have a goal at the end it is easier to get there when you enjoy it!!
